Thank you for stopping by!  I am Bonnie Smith, wife of a wonderful husband and mom to two amazing daughters. We live in the beautiful city of Columbia.  I am celebrating 15 years since I started my photography business!  I have been blessed by God to be a part of many precious moments in the lives of my clients. From newborns to weddings, I am thankful to be able to keep memories in sharp focus.  My passion for photography grew as I watched my beautiful girls grow from babies to preschoolers.  Time was flying by and the exhaustion from motherhood was making the daily memories fade.  By capturing these priceless moments on film (yes, film!), I was able to relive those fleeting days and keep the memories sharp. As my passion grew, I felt the Lord pressing upon me to open a business.  In 2004, Heavenly Reflections by Bonnie was launched.  Thousands of clients later, I still love photography with the same enthusiasm that I did 15 years ago.  I love the challenge of the changing style and art of photography. I love learning new techniques and trying different things.  I am thankful that YOU stopped by my website and would love the opportunity to photograph your special moment!

I am also privileged to have taught over one hundred high school students the art and love of photography.  Bonnie Smith Photography Classes started 7 years ago with 10 students.  It was an adventure learning to teach this medium of art. Over the years, my classes have grown and new levels have been added; Basic Photography, Advanced/Art of Photography, and Post Production and Presentation.  There is even talk of a 4th level, The Business of Photography.  I get to travel all over SC with my students taking pictures!  How fun is that?!?  And, I host an art show every spring showcasing their work!  If you would like to know more, check out my facebook page:
